What is Mori and who is it for?
Mori is a pet-care companion for families in the UAE. It helps you plan routines, get reminders, keep health records, ask everyday questions and find local care for dogs, cats, birds and falcons.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start straight away. Your pets, tasks and records are kept on your phone. There’s no sign-in yet.
Is Mori on the App Store or Google Play?
Not yet. It’s coming to both, and you can join the waitlist. In the meantime it works in your phone’s browser.
How do I add Mori to my Home Screen?
On iPhone, open Mori in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open Mori in Chrome, tap the menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
Reminders
Reminders didn’t arrive
Open Settings › Reminders and check the type is on and alerts are allowed. On iPhone, add Mori to your Home Screen first, because iOS only delivers web alerts to installed apps. Reminders arrive while Mori is open or installed.
How do I change when I’m reminded?
Settings › Reminders lets you choose at the time, 15 minutes before or an hour before, and turn quiet hours on or off.
Can I mute one kind of reminder?
Yes. Meals, walks, medication, vaccines and grooming each have their own switch.
Pets and records
Which pets can I add?
Dogs, cats, birds and falcons. Each has its own routine, health records and illustration.
How do I add a vaccine?
Open Health, tap the plus button, choose the vaccine, enter the date given and the next due date, and optionally attach the certificate.
Why are my bird’s weights in grams?
Birds and falcons are weighed in grams (or ounces if you switch units in Settings), the way their owners weigh them.
Move my pets to a new phone
Your data lives on your phone. Use Settings › Privacy and data › Export my data to save a file. Cloud backup is planned.
Maggy
What can Maggy do?
It gives general guidance about everyday pet care, with your pet’s age and breed in mind. It doesn’t diagnose, prescribe or suggest doses.
What if I think it’s an emergency?
Call your vet or a 24-hour clinic first. If your message mentions emergency signs, Mori shows 24-hour vets with phone numbers straight away.
Are my conversations private?
They’re saved on your phone so you can continue them. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy and data.
Local guide
Where does the local information come from?
From each provider’s own public pages, government pages and published guides, with the sources and date checked shown on each place.
What does Unverified mean?
The business hasn’t confirmed its details to us yet. Check hours and prices with them before you go.
A place is missing or wrong
Tell us and we’ll check it and update the listing.
Which emirates are covered?
The area picker covers all eight emirates. Our directory is deepest in Dubai and is growing in the others.
Privacy and data
Where is my data stored?
On your phone. Mori doesn’t keep your pets’ records on its servers.
How do I export or erase my data?
Settings › Privacy and data. Export saves everything as one file. Erase removes everything from your phone immediately.
